Jason's Auctions presents a decent solid copy of the true 1st edition Monster Manual for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons by Gary Gygax and TSR. The 1st print has all the identifying marks on front cover, 2009 lower left corner, TM under red AD&D logo and Lizard icon next to the TSR Games address. The interior has the Red Fly Leaf paper. The book is solid but used and has some wear all around as typical for a used but not abused copy of this hardcover. The interior is complete all pages accounted for 112. Many of the interior pages have writing in pen on them made to add information to the book when the corrections came out in after the 2nd printings and or Dragon Magazine issues. Example in picture the stats to the Stag Beetle where written in and the Bombardier Beetle crossed out with reference to which Dragon Magazine issue. very solid copy of this scarce book with not many of these true first prints have survived over the many years since release.
