Additional Info:
This horn looks like it has had some repair work done previously.  There is a patch on the outside bow leading into the throat of the bell and evidence of bell dent removal on the bow (see pics).  There is some of red rot showing throughout the horn.  Currently we are selling this instrument in non-playing condition as it does have some minor leaks and the fourth valve needs to be re-tied. The leak is most prominent when using the third valve on the Bb side. Even with the minor leaking the horn does have that really nice Reynolds sound!  With the proper adjustments this horn still have plenty of life left in it to make music!

Playing Condition:
This instrument is currently in Non playing condition. The horn will kind of play but here is some leaking happening as well as the thumb valve needs to be re-tied.  To really be in playing condition the horn needs to have some adjustments done.
The Finish:
It has approximately 50- 55% of the lacquered finish
Player Wear:
Medium general wear (visible surface scratches and wear and/or small-medium dents and dings)
Valve Condition:
One or more of the valves are not functioning properly and the tuning slides are loose.
Valve Info:
As we stated above the fourth valve needs to be re-tied.  The rotor functions when moved manually leading us to believe that when it does get re-tied it should be working!
Lead Pipe Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Outside Bell Bow Condition:
Has a light to medium dent in the outside bow with a couple of small dings and dents (See Pics) There has been dent removal repair and there is a patch (see pics).
The Bell:
Minor dents and dings and minor bell edge dents (See Pics)
Bell Dent Removal/Repair:
Light evidence (See Pics)
Re-soldered:
Several (See Pics) There is a brace from the tuning slide to the outside wrap that does not need to be re-soldered yet but it does look like it is starting to separate and may need it eventually (see pics).
Metal Condition:
There is a larger patch on the bow leading into the bell throat (see pics).  There is a crack on one of the tuning slides on the back of the horn (see pics).
The Mouthpiece:
No Mouthpiece is included, or other accessories
The Stand:
If pictured, not included.
The Case:
Good Used Condition (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches) there are some letters painted on the case.

NON REFUNDABLE

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.
Instructions for Return Shipping:

Be sure all original parts of the item purchased are included before you return it.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.

Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
